Recording of whiteboard lagging to audio

I am using Zoom for teaching and recording the lectures. Some of the lectures include alot of numerical calculations, for which I am using a whiteboard. Previously, I was using Miro white board, and it worked excellent.

Now; I wanted to use Zoom whiteboard. Although the whiteboard writing in not lagging with the audio for other participants, this is not the case for the recording.

So, there is a 5-6 seconds lag between audio/video recording and whiteboard writing. I have tried different solutions (turning off camera, AI assistance, host only using the whiteboard,...), but nothing is working.

This is extremely disappointing as we are paying for the Zoom, and its whiteboard seems not to function properly, even for basic functions, while free whiteboards such as those from Miro are working flawlessly.

Can something be done regarding this issue?

Thank you!

Hey there, it's annoying when your whiteboard recording lags behind the audio, right? Here are a few things you can try to fix it:-

Check your internet connection:- A strong, stable internet connection is crucial for smooth recording. Make sure you're on Wi-Fi and that your connection isn't slow or dropping out.
Close other apps:- Other apps running in the background can consume bandwidth and slow down your recording. Close any unnecessary apps before you start recording.
Reduce video quality:- If possible, try recording at a lower video resolution. This will require less bandwidth and can help improve synchronization.
Restart your devices:- Sometimes a simple restart of your computer, tablet, or phone can resolve unexpected issues.
Use a dedicated recording device:- If you're having persistent problems, consider using a dedicated recording device like a screen recorder specifically designed for this purpose.

Hopefully, one of these tips helps you get your whiteboard recording synced up with the audio!
