On April 16, between 2:25 P.M. ET and 4:12 P.M. ET, the domain zoom.us was not available due to a server block by GoDaddy Registry. This block was the result of a communication error between Zoom’s domain registrar, Markmonitor, and GoDaddy Registry, which resulted in GoDaddy Registry mistakenly shutting down zoom.us domain. Zoom, Markmonitor, and GoDaddy worked quickly to identify and remove the block, which restored service to the domain zoom.us. There was no product, security or network failure at Zoom during the outage. GoDaddy and Markmonitor are working together to prevent this from happening again.

I recorded a meeting last month on the 6th, and thought that it downloaded automatically to my windows media player. It turns out that it did not, and I missed the window by a few days and cannot find the recovered file. Is there any possible way to still access this recording?

Please see this Zoom Support article on recovering Cloud recordings. If it’s not in the Trash area, I’m afraid it’s gone.

Hi,
You can check the deleted recordings under your trash files.
Deleted recordings stays within 30 days.
After these 30 days, deleted recording field will move to a permanent deletion state where these files will permanently delete within 24 hours.
After this action is completed, these files can’t be recovered.
