On April 16, between 2:25 P.M. ET and 4:12 P.M. ET, the domain zoom.us was not available due to a server block by GoDaddy Registry. This block was the result of a communication error between Zoom’s domain registrar, Markmonitor, and GoDaddy Registry, which resulted in GoDaddy Registry mistakenly shutting down zoom.us domain. Zoom, Markmonitor, and GoDaddy worked quickly to identify and remove the block, which restored service to the domain zoom.us. There was no product, security or network failure at Zoom during the outage. GoDaddy and Markmonitor are working together to prevent this from happening again.

Setting a 24-hour minimum notice for lesson rescheduling

As a teacher, I use a scheduling system for my students to book lessons. Recently, I've encountered an issue where some students have been able to reschedule their lessons as late as one hour before the scheduled time. This has been problematic for me as an instructor. I'm looking for a way to implement a 24-hour minimum notice period for rescheduling. This means students would not be able to change their lesson time if less than 24 hours are remaining before the originally scheduled time.

My questions are:

  1. Is it possible to set up this 24-hour minimum notice period in our current scheduling system?
  2. If so, how can I implement this change?
  3. Are there any potential drawbacks or considerations I should know when making this change?

Any advice or suggestions on addressing this issue would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance for your help!
