Finding the breakout room recording

I recorded the session in the breakout room during a meeting today. When I view the saved recording, I can only see the main room. Where is the breakout session saved? I know for sure it recorded.

If you have the meeting ID from the invite you can look in the Admin portal under Account Management > Recoding Management and do a search for the recording using the meeting ID.

Is this just for the main meeting not the Breakout Room Recordings?

If you're recording to the cloud Zoom will only record the main room.  If you want to record breakout rooms you need to record locally.  As a host, you can give permission to people to record locally, and they can record whatever breakout room they are currently in.  How they then get that recording to you is something you would have to work out (file sharing site, FTP, YouTube, etc.)

In the past I have been able to cloud record a meeting, join one of the breakout rooms I set up, and record that locally.  It's been a while since I've tested that so I don't know if it still works.

It sounds like you can still record breakout room locally according to the article you linked in your message.  

Found this other article on local recordings.   Looks like if there is a local recording that user can go to their Zoom app, click on Recorded and view what is locally recorded.
