Zoom phone audio transcripts text file

Hi, 

Can anyone please advise if the Zoom phone audio transcripts are available in text file format, the same as the Zoom meeting transcripts? It seems pointless if they are not.

In order to view transcriptions if you turn on Automatic or Adhoc call recordings, please see steps below. These transcripts cannot be downloaded in text format:

So just to confirm, you are saying the call recording transcript is not available in the same format as the meeting recording transcript, and there is no way of creating a text file transcript from a recorded phone call? Not voicemail, its a phone call i need text file on, im trying to connect that text file with Zapier

Good news is you can download a phone recording transcript via APIs. Here is the endpoint:

You will need to have API integration in place (https://marketplace.zoom.us/docs/api-reference/phone/methods/#overview)

We're in the same boat. The only method so far for extracting the transcript - albeit less than ideal - is to access personal call recordings here:

https://us06web.zoom.us/pbx/page/telephone/myZoomTelephony#/my-cloud-phone/recordings

Locate the transcribed live call and click on the blue play button. This opens a dialog with play controls and the transcription. Click on the top of the transcription text and drag all... the.... way.... to the bottom. Then copy/paste.

You can do a "select all," but it will select the entire web page. If you paste it, you'll need to select and delete all the unwanted junk above the transcript.

Better than nothing until Zoom adds a mechanism to download the transcript.

This really needs to be more user friendly. I'm looking tools from Dialpad and they are so much easier to manage. Zoom Phone shouldn't be an afterthought!

Wow,  so a transcript is the basis for IQ/AI Companion/Smart Summary and its not in the same format and ability for phone to use those tools as a meeting?   -  really.?  For us, we want to contact a member or prospect from either a meeting or a phone call and use the same tools and SOPs to share, manage, etc-  this does not sound smart.

Did anyone figure out how to access phone call transcriptions for calls that were not recorded but did have an AI summary generated for them?
