Hi all - I'm a little stumped, and I am not an IT person, but I know how to follow instructions and use a mouse. So I thought I would try posting here.
I've just hired my first employee into my professional services (consulting) firm. He is remote from my main location. For 4 months now, calls have been coming to me since I was the only employee. I have bought a second Zoom phone license for him so he can make his own calls out for assignments. What I would like to do is avoid having to be the phone receptionist. Is there a way for an autoattendant to receive calls and allow an extension to be dialed?
My workaround is either I will be the receptionist and transfer calls over, or the new hire gets that job. I'd rather a robot do that for me. I just couldn't figure out how to do it.
Thanks -
Joe

Bingo bango, this is exactly what I needed. I was using the wrong search jargon AND I didn't properly route calls into the "auto receptionist" first. I'll be setting this up this afternoon.
