We use dial by first name within our Zoom phone setup. We are trying to find a way to flip the order the system presents two staffers with the same first name. Basically, we have a Mary Jones and Mary Smith. Jones is a back-office worker while Smith is a retail person who receives the greatest call volume. Callers to our company are selecting the first Mary presented by the system which is Jones who now needs to transfer the call over to Smith.
We have tested changing Jones' first name to Mariann and then her last name to her maiden name of Taylor but neither changed the sequence in which Zoom presents the names to a person calling in. What and where is Zoom basing the dial by name list from? Do we have any ability to access and adjust this? Note - using the last name for the dial by name is not an option per company management.
