It should use zero touch provisioning to self provision when rebooted unless:

  • firmware too old to talk to zoom and provision (zoom wants 6.4.3.5156)
  • local dhcp server settings overriding the zero touch provisioning

Check your firmware, and if not close to 6.4.3, upgrade it to something close.

If not that, can do the manual provisioning as described in the web portal.

How do I find out what the firmware is?

Use the phone menus or login to the phone's web interface...

I think I found it and its updating. How do I enter the IP address in the Zoom app for the device?

If the firmware is now updating (what version was it at?), it will probably use zero touch provisioning and connect to zoom automatically unless something else is wrong....

If you do end up needing to do the manual provisioning, get the IP address of the phone from the phone menus and open it in a web browser so can fill out the fields as described in the web portal. But you really would rather use zero touch if at all possible, esp. if you have more than a few phones.
