When making an outbound call, the caller ID shows as a past employee. The Outbound Caller ID in the Zoom account shows as the correct person. The old employee does not have an account in our system although it was their old name that was reassigned.

Hi rsheehan,
In usa, caller-id name is provided by telephone service provider that receives the call. Zoom sends changes to caller-id name for zoom phone accounts to services that provide caller-id name. some telephone service providers only refresh their information monthly. Most of the mobile carriers refresh caller-id name much more frequently, i.e. daily. Is the caller-id name correct when received on a major cell carrier? You can also check to see what true cnam has.

Hi Eliot,
Thanks for the reply. The caller-id is not correct when calling major cell carriers. The individual's name that is coming up hasn't been with the firm for over 2 years. He has been completely deleted from the system and the correct name shows for us under admin, outbound call, etc. but when they go to actually make a call - the incorrect name appears.
