I am not able to start my laptop camera after joining zoom meeting. I can see a lock symbol on the panel.

My guess would be that you have another application running on your Windows computer that is using your camera, already. FaceTime, Messenger, Discord, Slack, Logitech Camera Control, etc.
I would close the Zoom app, then find and close all the other apps, or reboot, then launch Zoom and try again.

My issue is different. I'm using a MacAir2000 with M1 chip. About half the time lately when I schedule a meeting with a Client - and I'm the one scheduling the meeting- I get a Waiting for Host sign in block message. Then when I put in my email and PW, that doesn't get recognized. So I end up waiting for my Client to join and log in based on there having signed in already. But that's not a great solution. Any ideas here? Thanks in advance.
