Hello,
I don’t know, but here are some ideas.
Do you have, or have you ever had your more than 1 Zoom account? Are you certain that you are logging into the exact same account from the client and the web based log in?
Perhaps your operating system or a password manger is filling in the wrong details for the desktop client?
Your desktop app cache might be corrupted in some way? Zoom has a special uninstaller called “Clean Zoom” than will remove the application and all associated hidden files. You could then reinstall and see if this clears up the issue.
You could try clearing your Zoom cache and cookies.

i have reinstalled my zoom twice already the second one includes deleting the folder in programfiles/data. for the credential manager however there is none relating to zoom

thanks Frank, I also tried the all the steps suggested on the links you provided, including the CleanZoom, but no luck
