if I am not available to host a meeting, I would like some else to be able to access the meeting without me having to make them a co host.

@sterry - If the other person also has a license and is in your account, you can make the an alternate host when you are setting up the meeting.  Otherwise, there is no option to allow someone to host your meeting without you passing control to them during the meeting.
