Waiting Room Not Working

The waiting room did not work on my meeting today. This is the first time it has happened in 3 years. I have the latest update and waiting room is enabled in my settings for everyone. Instead, people were able to join the meeting and bypassed the waiting room which is not ideal. How can I fix this?

I've had this problem too, just for the last 10 days or so. Anyone know how to fix this glitch?
