Host freezes and zoom shuts down but meeting and recording continues without her ... why ?

twice in three days (never before) as host my screen freezes my participants see the screen go dark at my end zoom shuts down and closes up but the recording and meeting is still continuing without me.  Cannot be internet as recording is still happening.  Why is this happening?   Been using zoom for 3 years never had this happen 

ANYONE have answers ?
