On April 16, between 2:25 P.M. ET and 4:12 P.M. ET, the domain zoom.us was not available due to a server block by GoDaddy Registry. This block was the result of a communication error between Zoom’s domain registrar, Markmonitor, and GoDaddy Registry, which resulted in GoDaddy Registry mistakenly shutting down zoom.us domain. Zoom, Markmonitor, and GoDaddy worked quickly to identify and remove the block, which restored service to the domain zoom.us. There was no product, security or network failure at Zoom during the outage. GoDaddy and Markmonitor are working together to prevent this from happening again.

Video and/or Audio disconnects when I touch my keyboard

During Zoom meetings lately, when I touch the keyboard to capture a screenshot or touch any key, my audio and/or video stops working.  I can still hear the meeting, but I lose the ability to speak or be seen or participate.  This is a major issue.  Can someone please help?

Hi @CorTreePorter thank you for your post here on the Zoom Community! This is definitely an unusual situation...can you think of anything that may have changed when this issue started happening?

 

Also I was curious of your hardware setup, like what kind of computer, are you using a laptop with built in keyboard or a separate USB Keyboard? 

 

Finally have you tried any troubleshooting steps like rebooting your computer?
