Simple Way to Automate Zoom Meeting Scheduling Using Google Calendar + Scripts

Hey everyone,

Just wanted to share something that helped our team save a ton of time.

We often schedule 10–15 Zoom meetings weekly, and copying meeting links into invites manually was getting tedious — especially when dealing with clients across time zones.

We set up a simple automation using:

• Google Calendar

• Google Apps Script

• Zoom’s API

Now, whenever someone fills out a form or we drop a meeting into a shared calendar, the script automatically creates a Zoom meeting and adds the link to the event description. No more double entry, and fewer scheduling errors.

Happy to share the full steps if anyone’s interested, or I can drop the sample script here directly. It took a few tweaks to get the OAuth and Zoom integration right, so hopefully it’ll save someone else some time.
