Problem with mutiple speaking at once. Cannot hear them all.

Hi ,

I have recently started experiencing an issue hearing people clearly on zoom especially when more than one person speaks at once. I used to be able to hear everyone clearly and now for some reason people just cut off when more than one speaks. Also I have noticed other people just cut off completely even when speaking on their own.

I have uninstalled zoom . Reinstalled it . Tinkered with all options. And the only solution I have found is to log in with my phone and use the audio on that which seems to be fine.

My friends laptops all work fine and this issue has only been present the last few weeks. So what's  changed.

I am at my wits end with it and cannot afford another laptop so any help or suggestions would be welcome

I have an Asus vivobook with Windows 11 and zoom client 5.15.1
