Private Messaging is not working

I have private messaging on in my profile but I still can't send private messages in my meetings which is very important when my meetings are conducted.

 Does this happen in meetings you are hosting, or only in meetings where you are an attendee?

 

The meeting Host can disable private messages, which means you as an attendee won’t be able to send them.

This happens to the meetings that I host. I never had a problem with this before. Private messaging is also enabled on my end. the choice to private message just disappeared one day.
