On April 16, between 2:25 P.M. ET and 4:12 P.M. ET, the domain zoom.us was not available due to a server block by GoDaddy Registry. This block was the result of a communication error between Zoom’s domain registrar, Markmonitor, and GoDaddy Registry, which resulted in GoDaddy Registry mistakenly shutting down zoom.us domain. Zoom, Markmonitor, and GoDaddy worked quickly to identify and remove the block, which restored service to the domain zoom.us. There was no product, security or network failure at Zoom during the outage. GoDaddy and Markmonitor are working together to prevent this from happening again.

Moving User Meetings and Recordings to Another User

I need to move Zoom meetings and recordings from a user that is no longer with our organization to another user who is still here. The only instructions I can find don't match what I see in my account.

When I try chat help or contacting support, I keep getting the message that I am not the account owner but my role shows I am the owner (I have always been the account owner for Zoom) and that I am not logged in, but I am logged in and can see my Admin Dashboard, view users, see plans and billing and all the other account level options.

Can someone help with suggestions about reaching support when I keep incorrectly told that I'm not signed in and not the account owner?

Can someone help with instructions for moving one user's meetings and recordings to another user and then how to remove that user?

Thank you.

J

Hi @JatWork

If you go into the Zoom meeting settings on zoom.us and look at privileges to see each other, you can take over meetings. But you need to be able to access the old account to set it up.
I don't know of any way to transfer recordings between users.

hope that helps
