Hi everyone,
We’re currently experiencing a recurring issue whenever we integrate Sembly with our Zoom meetings. Specifically:
The Zoom meeting has no audio
The Zoom meeting has no video
The transcript is not captured or summarized
For context, Sembly is an AI meeting assistant that joins virtual meetings to automatically record, transcribe, and generate summaries and insights from conversations. It’s a useful tool for keeping accurate meeting records and sharing key takeaways with teams.
We reached out to Sembly support and were informed that this might be due to a Zoom glitch that occasionally prevents attendees (including bots like Sembly) from accessing audio. They've mentioned that this is beyond their control and are working on updates to help Sembly rejoin meetings more reliably in the future.
In the meantime, we’d like to know:
Is there any way to recover or retrieve the recordings and transcripts of the completed meetings via Sembly?
Or should we rely solely on Zoom’s built-in recording and transcription feature moving forward?
If we use Zoom’s native features, will we still be able to get the summaries and insights we need from those past meetings?
Any guidance or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Third party integrations are always subject to being broken because of software changes and software is constantly changing. Suggest you take a closer look at Zoom's AI Companion.
