On April 16, between 2:25 P.M. ET and 4:12 P.M. ET, the domain zoom.us was not available due to a server block by GoDaddy Registry. This block was the result of a communication error between Zoom’s domain registrar, Markmonitor, and GoDaddy Registry, which resulted in GoDaddy Registry mistakenly shutting down zoom.us domain. Zoom, Markmonitor, and GoDaddy worked quickly to identify and remove the block, which restored service to the domain zoom.us. There was no product, security or network failure at Zoom during the outage. GoDaddy and Markmonitor are working together to prevent this from happening again.

Is it possible to pre assign people to more than one break out room?

So if I have rooms A1, B1, A2, B2 - I know I can pre assign them for those 4 rooms easily but can I then also pre assign another room for all As and then another room for all Bs, or will this have to be done manually?

Up to 50 rooms and up to 200 participants can be pre-assigned. If your account has Breakout Rooms 100 enabled, you can pre-assign up to 100 rooms and up to 1000 participants. Only one set of pre-assignments can be configured for a meeting.

Ok great thanks for that. So one email address can't be pre assigned to 2 different rooms - I didn't think so because when I click go to break out rooms, Zoom wouldn't know which of the 2 rooms to send them to.
