How Can I give a host to my team?

I am currently managing a platform that involves hosting three daily meetings at different times. Currently, My team members cannot join these meetings unless someone with access to the platform's Zoom account logs in and admits them or makes them host manually.

I would like to know:

  1. Is there a way to allow different team members to host these meetings without sharing the Zoom account's username and password?
  2. Can team members host specific sessions based on their schedules without requiring additional licenses for each of them?
  3. Does enabling breakout rooms for discussions depend on the presence of the host, and if so, how can we manage this effectively without purchasing multiple licenses?

As a startup, affordability is a concern, so I’m looking for a cost-effective solution.

Best Regards,

Hi Talk4impact, welcome to Zoom Community.

The ideal scenario is for each user to have their own paid license, however, if this is not a cost-effective option at the moment, hosts can schedule meetings and configure them with these two items:

- Enable passcode and include it in the meeting link.
- Disable the waiting room.
- Enable "participants can enter at any time".

If you use these three settings combined, the Host can schedule the meeting and without needing to start it, participants will be able to join the session and the first one to join will have the host permissions to end the session. I am attaching a shreenshot.

However, this proposal is not recommended in terms of security since anyone with access to the link will be able to enter the session. Purchasing a paid license for each user gives you the following benefits:

- Each person can schedule their own meetings with the security measures they need.
- A person can schedule a meeting on behalf of another user who belongs to the same account, this is called an "alternate host."
- Record all meetings in the cloud.
- Interoperability of the entire Zoom Workplace between all account users such as: Zoom Docs, Zoom Notes and Zoom Whiteboard.

I am sure that by investing in licenses, you will be able to find profitability in the short term.
