Dear People,
After Skype has turned on noise cancellation i am up to try the latest version of Zoom for online guitar lessons.
See that the option is implemented now and happy for that, BUT if i go to the settings tab and turn it on the input level does not register my guitar or a hand clap, while it does my voice.
Anyone has this new function working in Linux?
What am i missing?
Thank you so much in advance!
Using OpenSuse Tumbleweed.

Turning on original sound is a 2 step process.
1. Select original sound in audio settings.
2. Turn on original sound (usually in the upper right part of the Zoom window) each and every time you start a session or change the mic selection.

Thank you so much for this answer.
Is there a way to test this? Tried the online zoom test, but no way to set any of that.
Means this that i cannot click on a zoom url but have startup the zoom client first and enter the meeting id? And after that i can set that?
The zoom client also does not remember its settings and have to set it back to "Original sound for Musicians" option every time.
Thanks, and have a great day!

I've been trying to get Zoom's original sound feature working in Linux as well (Mint MATE). I'm pretty sure I have all of the settings correctly set, and when I use the "Test Mic" recording feature, non-speech sound comes through beautifully. But then in an actual meeting it filters out everything but speech. I've double and triple checked that original sound is on in the top bar, and I've tried every possible option to try to get it to work.
Has anyone been able to get this working correctly in Linux, or is the feature just broken? Are there any system settings that need to be adjusted to get it working?
