On April 16, between 2:25 P.M. ET and 4:12 P.M. ET, the domain zoom.us was not available due to a server block by GoDaddy Registry. This block was the result of a communication error between Zoom’s domain registrar, Markmonitor, and GoDaddy Registry, which resulted in GoDaddy Registry mistakenly shutting down zoom.us domain. Zoom, Markmonitor, and GoDaddy worked quickly to identify and remove the block, which restored service to the domain zoom.us. There was no product, security or network failure at Zoom during the outage. GoDaddy and Markmonitor are working together to prevent this from happening again.

Camera causing Zoom to crash in meetings

Hello,

Zoom crashes in meetings when I have my camera on. It can go an hour without doing so, or do so three times in a minute. Zoom does not crash if I am the only person in my own meeting room, only when someone else joins.

I have tried altering the rendering method in Advanced Video Settings, this didn’t help. I thought it might be a conflict with the antivirus, but I shut it all down and still the problem persisted. I have uninstalled every program that could conceivably be conflicting with Zoom. I have uninstalled Zoom and downloaded the latest version several times.

I have an external Logitech webcam, but the problem persists if I switch to the laptop’s built-in camera.

I don’t think the problem occurs if I join someone else's meeting from my web browser. I haven’t done this for long enough to be absolutely certain, but it doesn’t seem to.

I cannot find advice anywhere that addresses this issue.
