Basic Plan vs Pro Plan

I currently am paying for the Pro Plan....because I need up to 2.5 hour meetings

Under the less expensive Basic Plan it says that it's 40 minutes for 3 or more participants.

My meetings are ALWAYS me and one Participant only.

So, that being the case and the wording in the basic duration..if I reduce to the Basic, am I able to do meetings with one other participant for more that 40 minutes?...like up to 2.5 hrs?

Hi @BWS-R ,

Thank you for reaching out to the Zoom Community! Per our guidelines, you would need to be on a Pro or higher plan to have a meeting last longer than 40 minutes, no matter how many participants are attending. You can find this documentation here that goes into more detail: https://support.zoom.com/hc/en/article?id=zm_kb&sysparm_article=KB0070458

Thanks!

Hi, @BWS-R.

@ZoomerIT’s answer is correct. Your information reflects how Basic accounts were configured several years ago. If you have a link to currently-available documentation that still has the old information, please provide the link so I can attempt to get it corrected. Thanks!
