Why are balloons, fireworks, explosions, and sparkles randomly appearing in my  frame when I'm in a meeting for a class. I haven't touched anything! It's also happening in my GoReact that I use for my class as well. I've tried to contact support, but I am being ignored.

Are you running MacOS Sonoma, by any chance? If so, these reactions are enabled by default on the camera before it is piped into Zoom or any other conferencing platform: https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT212950

To disable these, please reference the following steps: https://appleinsider.com/inside/ios-17/tips/how-to-turn-off-facetime-video-reactions-in-ios-17-and-m...

Thank you!  I have been wracking my brain trying to figure out how to turn this off. Your link provided the exact solution. Much appreciated.

It is beyond exhausting that Apple somehow decided that this should just be universally applied. It started showing up on my iPad this week and I swear I want to throw the thing out the window. I hate it so much. 🫧👍
