On April 16, between 2:25 P.M. ET and 4:12 P.M. ET, the domain zoom.us was not available due to a server block by GoDaddy Registry. This block was the result of a communication error between Zoom’s domain registrar, Markmonitor, and GoDaddy Registry, which resulted in GoDaddy Registry mistakenly shutting down zoom.us domain. Zoom, Markmonitor, and GoDaddy worked quickly to identify and remove the block, which restored service to the domain zoom.us. There was no product, security or network failure at Zoom during the outage. GoDaddy and Markmonitor are working together to prevent this from happening again.

Ive recently come across this issue, whenever Im sharing computer audio, either with screen sharing or without, the participants are hearing a very distorted/garbled audio. Similar to static but louder and more distorted. Please let me know how to fix this issue since I have to host regular meetings daily. Thanks

Have you tried updating BIOS and your audio drivers?  Doing so can help when issues like that pop up.  You can update them by googling "drivers" for your make/model of computer (eg go to Google and type in "Dell Latitude 5420 Drivers").  Then the manufacturer's website should have a BIOS update for your model of computer, and hopefully an audio driver as well.  Then you just run the programs after downloading them and restart, and it's possible either of them could fix your issue.

Going back to older version works. You can use this link (not hosted by zoom so not official) https://zoom-us-zoom.en.uptodown.com/windows/versions).
But also, if you have 64-bit machine, use the 64-bit download, not the 32-bit. That also corrects the problem for me.
