I need to share a video that has audio, during my recorded meeting. To do so, I share the video and select the "Share Sound" checkbox, and because the video has audio and I'm in a noisy environment, I mute myself.
However, I noticed that if I do that, the Recording Alert window pops up, warning me that unless I unmute myself, no audio will be recorded.
There is audio in the video, so I'm not sure why the recording isn't picking it up.
Please help. Thanks.

no worries, shared sound will be recorded no matter you mute your computer audio or not.

I just had the same thing happen with a Zoom webinar. I went ahead and pressed record and nothing was recorded. I've been able to do this in the past so wondering what has changed?

there shouldn't be any product change to disallow you to record. pls contact Zoom support and provide some detailed information.
