Asking Permission to Record from co-Host

Somehow I must have changes some settings when trying to adjust some others. Previously when we had a a Zoom presenter doing a presentation to our club, I would assign them as a host/co-host and ask them if we could record their presentation. Now the record button is not anywhere to be seen. I looked through the settings for recordings and tried a few changes but that just caused recordings to automatically start when I started a meeting. We need the recording button back and to have "recordings" to be on a meeting by meeting basis after getting permission to do so.

Hello @JMM – I would suggest you disable this setting so that recordings are manually triggered by Host / Co-Host:

I hope this helps!

Automatic Recording is already disabled. The problem is I'm not seeing the Record button at all when I open a meeting.
