I recently upgraded to the new M1 iMac 24" with 16GB ram. Before this upgrade, I owned a late 2015 27" iMac with 8GB ram. Since upgrading, my AirPlay Screen Sharing to my iPad Pro is taking considerably longer. In fact, it usually takes around 16-20 seconds to connect to the device. This is really valuable wasted time when trying to teach online. It was an almost instant connection with the old computer. I've checked to make sure I have updated to the most recent version of Zoom and the latest operating system. I've also tried restarting the iPad and computer.
I reached out to Apple first, and they suggested I contact Zoom.

I'm having exactly the same issue and zoom support hasn't solved this for me yet. Did you find a solution?
