On April 16, between 2:25 P.M. ET and 4:12 P.M. ET, the domain zoom.us was not available due to a server block by GoDaddy Registry. This block was the result of a communication error between Zoom’s domain registrar, Markmonitor, and GoDaddy Registry, which resulted in GoDaddy Registry mistakenly shutting down zoom.us domain. Zoom, Markmonitor, and GoDaddy worked quickly to identify and remove the block, which restored service to the domain zoom.us. There was no product, security or network failure at Zoom during the outage. GoDaddy and Markmonitor are working together to prevent this from happening again.

2nd Camera - Default Setting???

Is there anyway or setting to select what the default 2nd camera is when screen sharing? Or do you just have to choose "Switch Camera" until you get to the one you want every time? Unfortunately Zoom recognizes 3 cameras on my laptop and isn't going to the camera I want to be my default 2nd camera. I was hoping once I switched to the camera I wanted and stopped the share it would remember the camera I chose, but it doesn't. Just curious if there is something in Zoom to fix this?

Thanks,

Jeremy

Welcome to the Zoom Community, @JKRamsden.

Unfortunately, no. This is a feature request I’ve made several times, since my camera list has 10 entries in it.

Ray -- check out the GoodClix website or the Z-SPAN website.

@Ray_Harwood thanks for your response. That's disappointing to hear. Hopefully this will be a feature in a future update in the near future. Seems more practical/useful than Studio Effects and Avatars.
