Unable to join a meeting

The meeting I am trying to join has a licence for 500 participants and it has locked people out at 100, saying the maximum has been reached. Please help ???

Is it a meeting or a webinar? Meetings can only be locked by host/co-host while in progress to create a cap other than license limits. Webinars however can be restricted to a specific amount up to the license limit during creation.

Thank you for the reply. It seems it was the hosts error. They moved to a webinar format and rectified the issue  🙂
