I have a Polsen USB mic that we plugged in for a zoom webinar. When just two people were in, the audio was fine. We went live and a 3 presenter joined plus 50 attendees. The main mic started to crackle. It seems to be some issue with the audio compression that Zoom employs. Anyone else have this issue and what is the fix?

A few tests to run in order to drill down on the specific issue:
1.) In an otherwise identical scenario, does the mic present the same issue on another computer?
2.) In an otherwise identical scenario, does the issue occur when less panelists join?
3.) In an otherwise identical scenario, does the issue occur in a Zoom Meeting (vs webinar)?
4.) Were panelists actively muting (following VTC etiquette) or leaving their mics open like infants?
5.) What are your current audio settings in Zoom Client?
6.) After the issue starts, can you reproduce it locally by running a mic test from Zoom's audio settings, or is the audio from the mic test clean?

Hi,
1. The mic does not present the same issue on another computer. In fact, when run through Voice Memo, the mic is fine and crystal clear.
2. Once a third person, either panelist or participant, the issue presents itself.
3. It occurs in both meetings and webinars.
4. Muting
5. Auto gain and auto compression.
6. Have not tried.
