Can't update, uninstall or install Zoom version 6.2.3

Hey we are trying to update Zoom (from 6.2.2 to 6.2.3 on Windows) on one of our users machines but we can't install, uninstall or update Zoom. We get the error message "The feature you are trying to use is on a network resource that is unavailable" but we don't use a network resource but just a local installation on the C drive here's the path: "C:\Program Files\Zoom\temp\temp.msi". Also when guiding it to the right folder where this installer sits it's throwing the same error.

What I tried:
Downloading Zoom installer 64 bit from the official site. No success in installation it tries to remove the old installation but runns into the same error as mentioned above.

Uninstalling Zoom doesn't work it also runns into the same error.

Updating via the app doesn't work also the same error occurs.

Question:
Is there a Zoom tool for clean uninstallation?

Any help would be appreciated.

Hi , I have this same issue and the proposed solution doesn’t work. When I try and install the latest plugin it shows the same error message as I get when I try and uninstall a previous plugin.

Pop up message in both cases is:

’The feature you are trying to use is on a network resource that is unavailable

Click ok to try again or enter an alternate path to a folder containing the installation package ‘ZoomVDIUniversalPluginx64.msi’ in the box below’

Yet I can uninstall and reinstall the main app with no issues.
Any suggestions? Thanks

Update. My issue was resolved by deleting/amending the resgister key as advised by another poster.

What a pathetic reply.  Your link does not address the issue.  Zoom worked fine until this update to Zoom Workplace.  It uninstalled the old Zoom but the new Zoom fails to install properly so nothing works.
