Issue with AI Companion Summaries in Zoom

Hi Everyone,

I hope you're all doing well!

Our company pays for Zoom, and part of the package includes the AI Companion feature.

During meetings I host, I'm able to activate AI Companion, and other attendees also receive notifications that it's enabled. However, I never receive an email summary, and when I log into Zoom Web > AI Companion, only old summaries are visible. It never generates summaries for meetings where AI Companion has been enabled.

Other people in our company receive AI Companion summaries without any issues.

I've checked the AI Companion settings, and they are enabled. Specifically:

  1. Send an email notification when sharing with users is enabled
  2. Share summary with: Only me (meeting host) is enabled
  3. Smart Recording with AI Companion:
    • Create with each recording:
      • Recording highlights
      • Smart chapters
      • Next steps

All AI Companion settings are locked by the admin.

My profile clearly shows that AI Companion is enabled for me. Can anyone suggest how to resolve this issue?

Today I was successful at getting an AI Summary. I think that I had been just clicking the AI Summary button but never choosing `all participants`. Once I clicked this I was able to get a full summary.

Whenever you start a meeting, do you also hit AI Companion>Summary?

I think I do but I will ensure to watch for this my next zoom meeting ( tomorrow May 15th 2024) and see if I missed this.

Hi Bob,  I've turned on the  AI Companion from account but it''s not working. I have another 2 account where it's working fine, but in this one I don't know that to to.... BTW in meeting I haven't the bottom Ai Companion like in your screen shoot ..  Any video? ...  I think that the problem it's from ZOOM .... It's difficult to find the right resources ...Thank you

Zoom AI Companion is now included at no additional cost for customers with the paid services assigned to their Zoom user accounts. For example, Zoom AI Companion features for Meetings are available to users provisioned with paid Meetings services. However, for a customer with paid users only provisioned with Zoom Phone services, such as paid users without paid Zoom Meetings services, those users will get AI Companion features for Zoom Phone, but not for Meetings.

If you are a Zoom One paid user, you get AI Companion capabilities for all services included in your Zoom One license.

For customers with standalone Zoom Meetings, Zoom Phone, Zoom Revenue Accelerator, or Zoom Contact Center paid services, your paid users will also get, at no additional cost, AI Companion features for Zoom Team Chat.

Basic (free) users, including those in paid accounts, will not have access to AI Companion features.* Upgrade to a paid account or license for access to these features.

Moreover, AI Companion may not be available for select verticals and select regional customers.
