So, Zoom thinks they can quietly dip into your account for a subscription renewal without warning. Has this happened to you and they refused to refund you? You’re not alone. Don’t let them get away with it.
Here's what you can do:
1. Call your bank immediately and dispute the charge.
2. Request a chargeback and have your bank block any further charges if they won’t cooperate.
3. Share your experience here so we can keep track of how many are affected.
If enough of us hit them at once, maybe they’ll learn that shady business comes with consequences. Let’s hold them accountable.

Yes, this happened to me. I did not receive any subscription renewal notification although according to their contract wording (which I did not receive) it states: 14.1 Term; Automatic Renewal:
Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of the current term unless written notice of cancellation is provided at least thirty (30) days before the renewal date, or as otherwise required by law. Notice must be submitted through the billing portal or via email to ***********. We also send reminder notifications in accordance with legal requirements, when applicable.
They do not say when reminder notifications will be issued just that they might which is ambiguous to say the least! I contacted my bank while the transaction was still pending but was told that it would go through and I would need to first contact Zoom. I have done that and they have advised it is their policy not to issue refunds. I will be disputing the charge through VISA.

Yes. Definitely dispute through Visa and I’d also request through Visa to block Zoom from charging your account in the future. Please inform us of how things work out.

This also happened to me. I was charged without a notice. I cancelled it the minute I got the notice and also blocked the payment when it was still pending. Zoom has refused to refund me. I have health issues and I need the money to pay for an emergency procedure. They still refused to refund me. Zoom did not send a notice, an email, anything. All they said they could do was to turn off the auto renewal for 2026. I don't use a Zoom account at home in 2025. I have an account at work that they pay for. I will continue to dispute the unreasonable charge.

The more people dispute, the more it will work in our favor. Please inform us of how things work out.

Hope you get some satisfaction. I am still exchanging emails. Still trying to get clarification on when they send subscription renewal notifications.
