I have turned off AI Companion. I find it annoying and some participants find it intrusive.However, if one of the participants has AI Companion running during a meeting I have initiated, do I still get a prompt that AI Companion is recording the session?Thanks! 

The subject is pretty self-explanatory. I'm a psychotherapist. I'm considering using AI Companion to summarize sessions for my notes. Do user sessions get used in training the AI? Thanks!

The zoom app automatically logs me out just right after I log in. I installed and uninstalled it multiple times, using different versions but same issues persist. The AI companion is not helpful at all.

 hello, we are having issues,  with our Zoom meetings at the Kingdom Hall, the person at the podium, can not clearly see who is  raising their hand on zoom, is there a dédicated forum, for this questions? How to get in touch with developers or people who can implement this feature in the Zoom meeting program? Tanks in advance 

I offered a free, public business webinar with an Eventbrite registration. I knew all attendees personally/professionally, except one, when the meeting started. I admitted everyone who was waiting into the meeting. I had asked that person to turn on their video and change their name. They left. After they left, about ten minutes into the meeting, someone (a known participant) shared their screen (I allow screen sharing and will be changing this setting). It showed a pr0n site with a live video. After realizing that the participant didn't have control of the screen sharing on their end, I took over the sharing and shared a view of my desktop. Someone started scribbling/annotating on the screenshare and wrote an obscenity. Everyone left and rejoined the meeting, and the same thing happened again, but under a different, known participant. This makes me think that some code is embedded in my Zoom meeting room that hijacks participants' screen sharing. I have a Zoom Marketplace Pro account.

I need to send out a recording, but it recorded in the local recording instead of the cloud. How do you convert a local recording to a cloud recording?

Hello Everyone, I host events for different clients with over 50 people, and in these events, I regularly use breakout rooms to facilitate different conversations to be held within the zoom meeting. More often than not I want to pre-assign these people to these breakout rooms. However, I do not seem to be able to pre-assign multiple sets of rooms in advance.  For instance, I host an event which contains multiple rounds of workshops, and people can sign in for specific workshops before the meeting. I can only pre-assign the first round of workshops with the people that were signed in for those workshops. Workshop rounds 2 and 3 will then either require me as host to assign all people manually myself to the new rooms which costs a lot of time, or require the participants to select the correct workshop room by themselves. Hi! I have an opportunity to try a older USB headset device, the Plantronics Blackwire C720-M. For example, in meetings at Zoom. I use a laptop with Windows 10. In the article ”Supported USB HID devices for the Zoom desktop client”, under Poly, there is a list of supported HID devices made by Poly where, among others, the “Blackwire 7225” is listed.The Plantronics Blackwire C720-M, which is from 2013, when the company was named Plantronics & Polycom, is not listed. On the other hand, in the article, under “Limitations”, it also says: “Supported USB audio devices on Windows are not limited to this list. Generally, the Zoom desktop client on Windows supports buttons for devices made by these manufacturers: AVer, Crestron, Jabra, Logitech, Plantronics, Polycom, Shure, Yamaha, and Yealink.”. Taking the above into account (for example the mentioning under “Limitations” of both Plantronics and Polycom) it makes me a bit uncertain when it comes to the Plantronics

I am trying to gather consolidated data about clip viewing statistics; how many views, how many unique viewers, and completion rates - in a bulk format.  Is there any way to pull this data besides going into each individual clip and viewing the statistics tab? 

We have the automated translated captions add-on and it works pretty well.  Even on the recording, you can choose from a long list of languages for translation of the recording.  Now I'd like to grab transcripts of a few different languages but I only can see the original language (Spanish).  If I watch the recording, I can see the transcript being played in any language along with the recording, but how can I download the transcript in a language other than the original?

Hello,Is it possible to get a link on a zoom record that will start at a specific timing?Like it is possible on wistia with the wtime option or in Vimeo with the #t option or in Youtube ? I have the record link, and I'd like that when people will open the link, it will start at a specific time (for exemple at 7'30 and not at the beginning).Thanks for any help.

In my organization, we’ve observed that several users are experiencing issues with the background blur feature in the latest Zoom client versions (6.5.6 and above). Specifically, the blur function fails to activate and, in some cases, causes the application to freeze. we addressed this by rolling affected users back to version 6.5.1, which appears to resolve the issue. To further investigate, I installed version 6.5.7 from the official Zoom website and tested the blur background feature. Unfortunately, the application froze during the attempt, and the background did not blur.

Hello,  I cannot join any Zoom meetings. The app always shows “Unable to join this meeting – This meeting ID is not valid.”  I have tried:  – Restarting my computer  – Reinstalling Zoom  – Changing Wi-Fi networks and using mobile hotspot  – Using different devices   However, the issue persists. Could my account or device be restricted or blocked?  Please help me restore normal access.   Thank you very much,  Péter Kovács

Is there any way possible to disable the flashing green rectangle that indicates the active speaker? I have a visual impairment that makes it hard to focus my eyes on flashing lights. I have tried gallery and speaker view, pinning the speaker, etc., but I can't find anyway around minimizing flashing light on the screen. I've been opening four browser windows to arrange over the edges of a pinned person's video to cover the flashing rectangle, but it is very hard to stay engaged on calls when I can't see everyone, and I have to continuously cover the zoom window with the four browser windows each time I need to mute/unmute or click something else on the zoom window.  I know accessibility for all disabilities is not always possible, but this should be a simple setting to turn off. During a meeting , is there a way for the assistant to recognize and distinguish between the voices of participants who are in the same place and using the same computer? In other words, can it distinguish between the voices of participants?

I am using an M4 macbook pro running Tahoe (also happens on previous versions). I am in a meeting that primarily has a speaker at a podium (where the mic is), but we also have instruments. Everything sound fine at the podium, but when music is happening, even though the microphone picks it up perfectly (microphone is directly recorded, and recorded on the mac itself to verify), zoom intermittently (more often than not) suppresses the music as well.  This goes against what the settings suggest, which is that audio suppression should be 100% disabled. I have tried every option.  Windows zoom has more options and can completely disable the noise suppression, but the mac version doesn't seem to have this option. This is a huge problem, please make the app do what it says it does and is supposed to do when using this mode. That's why we choose it, to have unprocessed audio. Before people start offering useless suggestions, I am an audio engineer and a software engineer. I kno

I've been using Zoom consistently a few days per week for classes for the past 3 years. I used an iPhone 15 pro Max that's up to date but then switched to an android Z Fold 7 a month ago. The screen is completely rearranged with only a mic button in the center of the screen. No chat. No other buttons at all. I've done every check I can think if but I can not use any functions for classes bc there is nothing on the screen as far as controls. I switched back to the 15 pro Max to see if it was the phone, and yes, the iPhones Zoom screen is normal looking but every time I press the chat button on it, it completely cuts off the zoom and recycles logging back in. Everytime I press chat. So I'm hindered from using it also. This is super weird. I truly want someone to explain how to fix this issue. With both phones but particularly with the Z Fold 7 bc that's my main phone used for classes. Everything for zoom works fine on my MacBook. This is perplexing. Ple

Anyone  know how can I turn off this popup. It shows in the foreground and could not find a  way to make it go away. I used zoom for 4 years, it just started showing up and did not make any changes on my Mac.  Many thanks.

Had a recent update to Zoom app on Samsung Tab A7 Lite tablet; the meeting room no longer shows media controls... | symptoms | - 'Always Show Media Controls' is 'ON' in settings- Before joining a meeting the preview screen shows the media controls; once meeting is joined, no media controls are visible- - Tapping anywhere / everywhere on the meeting screen results in 'notta', no media controls- - Only way to show media controls is when entering picture-in-a-picture feature by selecting the Samsung Android Recents Button and selecting Zoom | actions taken |- 1) Rebooted tablet = notta- 2) Cleared Zoom cache = notta- 3) Uninstall / reinstall Zoom app = notta Thanks in advance for any support provided... have a great day  

It's 2025 and people have been posting about this for multiple years now, yet when caller is sitting in queue they have no option to use IVR to Breakout to leave a voicemessage or similar. Most systems even have option to request a callback and sit in callback queue, but we are not asking for that, just simple expected ability to leave a voicemail. Callers dont know they want to leave voicemail if they think they are going to be answered promptly, but reasons arise that they need to jump off phone and want to leave a voice message instead. Why is it so hard for Zoom to add this basic capability?
