Hello,My Zoom desktop client repeatedly freezes/hangs during meetings. It happens even when my camera is off — typically while others share screen or have video on. This seriously affects my work; please advise exact steps to diagnose/fix. Environment & symptomsZoom desktop version: 6.5.5 and several previous versions.OS: Windows 11.GPU: AMD Radeon RX 9070 XT with 25.10.30 Adrenaline drivers.CPU: i5- 14400 F.I reproduced the freeze reliably during screen sharing sessions or when participants have video; sometimes it happens even when no cameras are active.Browser-based Google Meet work fine on the same machine. What I already triedToggled hardware acceleration options (on/off).Reinstalling Zoom.Launched Zoom with various flags:--use-angle=gl,--enable-features=Va api Video Decoder,--disable-features=Va api Video Decoder,--disable-gpu-driver-bug-workarounds, etc.Disabled all Adrenalin overlays/recording features and Hardware-accelerated GPU scheduling in Windows. 

I started having this problem yesterday, Nov 6, 2023.  I can't get past the Zoom launch page when I click on the hot links to meeting in my email.  I tried the Zoom chat bot and they referred me here.   I cleared my cache and temp files and still didn't work.   I uninstalled and reinstalled Zoom and still it is not working.  I can get in on the Web app but that is super laggy and not a viable solution.  I can get in on my iPhone, but again not a sustainable solution.    I appreciate any help figuring this mystery out.

I've been recording zoom clips all morning to send to my clients. I finished one recording and It came up with that error and now all of my recording have disappeared. I've tried everything and even recording from the past month are all gone. How do I get them back ASAP

Hi there!I've recently started using Zoom for my online classes. I would like to "screen share" a shared Google doc during our call, so we can both type in it. I know I can screenshare a tab in my browser, but then I won't see my student's face while working on it. Does anyone know a solution for this?  Many thanks!

Hello, I am trying to download the Q&A section for the session I just ran today but it shows up as 0 in the summary analytics. There were about 28 questions so I know for sure there are more than 0. Let me know how to obtain this info. thx! 

Our event was recorded, but the virtual background in the recording has the logo of a different event in our Hub. We need to remove the virtual background with the incorrect logo. Can you asist?

Hi, if anyone knows how to get Zoom to respond to client service tickets, please let me know.  I've sent a few tickets over the last month that have been ignored.  My understanding is that Zoom phone supports importing of existing numbers, yet despite following instructions I have been unable to.  

My Zoom video shows me upside down.  The background image is correct but not the "front" of the background.  Which displays an upside down image.  See screenshot below. And Yes, I have checked the camera.  It works fine.  It is definitely is Zoom. Done a search on this community site and found nothing. There is nothing wrong with the camera.  As it works in all other applications, but not in Zoom.   I can temporarily remedy this by turning off the video - and just show a still of me.  But I host tons of Zoom meetings and it would be great to solve this!   THANKS!    

I have an Auto Receptionist setup as a basic Call Tree: Opt 1 sales, opt 2 support etc. During after business hours we want the support calls to go to an external 800 number, i.e. +18005551234. When dialing the extension afterhours to have the caller be forwarded to the External Contact, instead Zoom says "The caller you're trying to reach is unavailable, good bye" and hangs up the phone. We cannot figure out why this is happening. Any advise would be much appreciated.

In the post-secondary education world, instructors need to provide spaces for students to collaborate with each other other than during class time. In order to provide private spaces to meet, instructors would like to open some 'virtual team spaces' for different groups of students in different classes. This involves using the 'no fixed time' and 'Join before host' settings. As it stands, instructors (hosts) can schedule as many meetings as they want but only 2 of those meetings can be open/used at the same time regardless if the host is present or not. This is not workable for how our instructors utilize the system. some instructors have 4 different courses and each one of them could have team projects that need to use these open spaces at any given time during the day/week/semester. How do we or can we work around this?Have any other users from the Education world come across this?All help is welcome. 

My Church seems to get better quality out of Zoom than the New Jersey State Superior Court.  Last Friday I had to attend a virtual pretrial hearing where the Court uses Zoom for these appearances.  I call this trial rigging.  The overall quality, especially the audio, was poor.  I should be used to this by now; but I don't want to experience more consequence than necessary.  Most parties to these hearings just put up with the bad quality because they want it over with.  From a trial I attended last year, my audio/video transcript the Court gave me last year reflects the same bad quality.  As with the recent hearing, the audio had an underwater quality to it.  The Court I noticed uses metal boxes with glass fronts to house the TV that they connect with Zoom.  Through these hearings and trials, the Court makes Zoom look bad while delivering such poor quality.

Hi, This morning all of our zoom meeting and webinar cloud recordings have disappeared from the Zoom system? We had 40+ recordings in there last week and this morning there are none. Nothing in the trash and I'm the only one with access to the account and I know I didn't delete anything. Last email from Zoom was telling me my latest recording is now ready, so isn't a billing or license thing? 

I've been using recurring meetings- meet anytime for 1:1 meetings that occur randomly through the week. Today I tried to schedule a new one, but the function for "meet anytime" is gone. Support article says it should be listed under the "recurrence" drop down, but I don't see it there. It seems like it was forcing me to put in a specified date and time for recurring meetings, which really just doesn't work for what I need. 

All my clips disappeared. When I try to contact support it says my account is Basic and for that reason I cant contact support except for reading the community, when my account is supposed to be a paid account (the last payment was 4 days ago and successful). in my main profile online it says my account is "Workplace Pro". When I try o creating a new "Clip" id doesn't save it after I record. In the clips area it just says "No Data".What is going on?? How do I get my clips back??

Good morning, I was editing the recording—saved in the cloud—of my meeting on Saturday, October 18th, when the message “error” suddenly appeared. Since then, I haven’t been able to view that recording anymore; it’s not in the trash and it’s no longer listed among my recordings. What should I do?

I have a basic account.  I tried to log on and it prompted me to create a 2fa code (which I already had).  I did this, and now my new 2fa does not work, and I cannot log onto my old basic account.  Zoom will let me reset my password, but not my 2fa.  I created a new basic account to post this question.  How do I delete my old basic account and switch to the new?

Hi Zoom Folks, So this was working but has broken again in the past month or so. It was working fine at some point before 6.2.3.2056. Sorry for not being exact but this also coincided with a hardware error on my old laptop (since replaced).The issue that I'm seeing is reported here  but for the record it seem like zoom is now trying to use (/usr/libexec/xdg-desktop-portal:297866): xdg-desktop-portal-WARNING **: 22:51:56.438: A backend call failed: No such interface “org.freedesktop.impl.portal.RemoteDesktop” on object at path /org/freedesktop/portal/desktopXDP: remote desktop session owned by ':1.549' closed** (/usr/libexec/xdg-desktop-portal:297866): WARNING **: 22:51:56.438: Failed to close session implementation: GDBus.Error:org.freedesktop.DBus.Error.UnknownMethod: Object does not exist at path “/org/freedesktop/portal/desktop/session/1_549/zoomcast I've tried also using GNOME under wayland but still get the same behaviour. Cheers Steve

I want to be able to share screen more than one application at a time when I'm in a Zoom meeting.But my Zoom only lets me share screen with one application at a time. If I want to switch between applications I'm screen sharing, I have to first close out of the first screen share, then start a new screen share. This is really annoying and time consuming and distracting when I'm trying to lead a meeting. Please advise!Thank you

I'm using "All Screens" mode in Zoom to proctor an exam for about 30 students. Is there a way to record the session--that is, is there a way to record all of the shared screens? I know that in All Screens mode, only 3 shared screens will show up in a window at a time, and you have to toggle left and right to see other screens. Can Zoom record the entire session--the toggling back and forth of shared screens? I'd like to be able to review the shared screens after the exam, since it's impossible to do so for that many people during the exam time. Thanks!
