I've been thinking about this from the perspective of online fashion events. Showing products through a camera is quite different from having people see them in person.Things like lighting, camera distance, movement and switching between speakers can completely change how the product comes across.I was looking at how brands such as Sable Vogue present formal dresses for women online, and it made me wonder whether a webinar should focus more on the actual product details or on the overall presentation experience. For anyone who has hosted product or fashion related webinars, what has worked better for you?
I don’t know if anyone can help with this, but within Scheduler it’s possible to hide an email address so that when someone has made a booking through the booking page, the email generated shows the name of the person sending but return email address is “scheduler-noreply@zoom.us”However, there is a footer at the bottom of the Scheduler-generated email which says “You are receiving this email because you have an event scheduled with...” and this footer includes the full email address of the person whose booking page has been used.In my organisation for branding purposes we need to not show the email domain at all. Does anyone know if there’s a way to remove the footer?
I teach live online classes with a large number of participants. For years my workflow was simple: set chat to "Host and co-hosts", ask a question, and all the students' answers would come into ONE chat window where I could read them at a glance. Students could not see each other's answers, so nobody could copy. After the new meeting chat UI and the new Zoom Web Experience rolled out on my account, every single participant's message now opens as its own separate one-to-one thread. With 50 or 100 students, I would have to click each person's name individually to read their answers. It is simply not usable in a live class. What I have already checked, as the account admin:- "Meeting chat - Private group messages" (the setting that used to fix this) has been REMOVED. It is not in my personal settings and not in Admin Center > Account Settings > Meeting > In Meeting (Basic).- "Meeting chat - Direct messages" is already turned off on my account. The separate threads still happen.- T

Hi there,Hoping that somebody can kindly clarify the current position for ZoomMate on AU01-regionally provisioned Australian accounts?ZoomMate now supports ZM+, Zoom’s APIs include ZoomMate licensing fields, and Zoom has publicly identified an Australian customer using ZoomMate, one of our universities. For an AU01 account:Is ZoomMate now supported? If so, it is not listed as an add on that my account can purchase, and it would be great to purchase it.An AU01-specific answer would be very helpful for Australian healthcare customers.Thank you.
Hi everyone! I've created several zoom-meetings for my students. Each meeting has it's own topic, so I want to put a corresponding banner on every meeting's waiting room. But I can't find settings to customize a single meeting. In Zoom support I see only how to change the banner for all the meetings at once. So the question is - can I put different banners for different waiting rooms? If it's possible, where can I find these settings? Thanks in advance!
We have a large number of lecturers at our institute wanting to use Linux as their system (primarily, because they're teaching Linux directly or DevOps/develpment and it's nice to be on the same system you're teaching). Problem is, Zoom Meetings app is borderline unusable when combined with remote support or screen share. Greatest issues are: 1. When providing remote support to a student, lecturers are unable to type certain keys - such as 's', 'p' and several others. Capitalised versions are fine, however certain keys are interpreted by the remote system as shortcuts. For example, when I press 'p' on the Linux machine, the macOS remote client 'beeps' - same beep as when an invalid key is pressed. Similarly, for example, pressing 'z' on Linux causes Mission Control to appear! This means we can't type anything (such as fixing commands or code) for our students. 2. When the remote support session is ended, choosing to "Stop remote support" doesn't actually do a
I am an audio-visual technician at a school district that uses Zoom Rooms with iPad controllers. The teacher at one of the hosting sites notified me that one of her receiving sites is muted, and they are unable to unmute themselves (and she cannot, either). I can manually unmute them by remotely launching their controller, but obviously we don't want to keep having to do this. Under the Participants tab of the host’s iPad, I clicked on the three dots, and one of the options was "disable participants to unmute themselves". This means that self-unmute is allowed for receiving sites, so I'm wondering why only this particular receiving site can't do this. In admin center, I went to the meeting tab of settings, and I can see that Request permission to unmute is enabled. Any other suggestions?
Hi, I am fairly new to zoom and while setting up the zoom phone, extension number #800 was assigned automatically. I am unable to understand the steps how to reset it or delete the extension number. Any help or direction would help 🙂
Registration link opens a Zoom window instead of the Registration lik. I can get to the registration page by directly clicking on the registration link, but the exact copy of that link (copied and pasted) into the registration email does not take you to the registration page, but tries to open zoom giving an “Invalid Meeting ID” response
Every so often - cant seem to find a specific timeframe - the Zoom Windows 10 desktop signs me out, this has happened twice in the middle of a meeting too, it is quite frustrating, anyone else experiencing this? I do have Zoom installed on a second PC and my phone, but when this occurs, the PC is switched off and the phone (Android) doesnt have Zoom active.
Hello,I have a reproducible audio issue in Zoom on Windows 10 when using a Behringer U-PHORIA UMC204HD as the playback device.During a Zoom Meeting, one remote event-room endpoint had Live Performance Audio enabled. Other participants, who were apparently using normal Zoom audio, were audible without any issue. The problem was as follows:Zoom speaker/output device: Behringer UMC204HDUMC204HD sample rate: 48 kHzMy Live Performance Audio: OFFRemote event-room Live Performance Audio: ONResult: the event-room audio was completely silent, while other participants remained audible.I then performed the following tests:I changed the Zoom speaker device from the UMC204HD to the computer's Realtek audio output. The previously silent event-room audio became immediately audible.I switched the Zoom speaker device back to the UMC204HD and enabled Live Performance Audio on my side. The event-room audio then became audible through the UMC204HD as well. With Live Performance Audio disabled again on my si
When I connect an external monitor, the camera does NOT rotate in landscape mode (in the external monitor using DEX). I can turn the device and it might lock for a few moments, however when I interact with the app it reverts back to 90 degrees I've tried all the possible settings in the Galaxy Tab S8 and the Zoom meeting app (Version 6.4.11.30526), without success. It works great on Google Meet without issue. Can you help?
Hi everyone,I’m hoping someone here has run into this particular Zoom cloud-recording issue.I have a recording that was transferred from one Zoom account/user to another. After the transfer, the recording appears in the new account under My Recordings and shows:Recording 1 16 files 3.66 GB 03:31:31 durationI’ve attached a screenshot of what I see. The recording clearly appears to exist in the account, although some of the labels/details in the interface are oddly missing. The problem is that I cannot actually access the recording. When I click the recording/playback link, I get:“This recording does not exist. (3,301)”When I try to download it, I get:“Cloud Recording plan expired (200)”There is another interesting detail: the behavior differs depending on which account is signed in.As the new account/admin:“Unable to view this recording because the signed-in account is not the host.” As the original host:“This recording does not exist. (3,301)” / “Cloud Recording plan expired (200).”The o
We have two active presenters and a tech facilitator. We want all 3 to be visible at the start of the webinar recording to say hello and again at the end to say thank you/farewell. Then, the two active presenters take turns presenting the screenshared content at various points (the tech facilitator is the host, does the screenshare, and moves the presentation slides and animations along). Ideally, the video feed in the upper righthand corner would automatically switch between them as they come off mute to do their various sections (function like active speaker). But no matter how many different view/recording setting combinations I try (and I do think I’ve tried them all), that doesn’t seem to be possible. Either it’s Active Speaker, which means you can’t see all 3 people together at the beginning (just whoever is talking), or it’s Gallery, which means I have to manually Replace Spotlight for each presenter when it’s their turn to talk.I can do that, I know the curriculum, but what wou
I have googled many times trying to figure out how to give someone access to edit a video recording of a zoom session but the instructions never match what I find on my screen. In simple language with icons that exist on my zoom screen please tell me how to do this, Note: I have spent 2 hours on this and still cannot figure it out and cannot spend more time on it. I URGE YOU TO SIMPLIFY SIMPLIFY SIMPLIFY!!!!!! There should be 1 easy step to take labeled “give access to others” or something like that that is easy to see and do, Please fix this!
I recorded a 3 hour zoom interview for my work, no error messages popped up while i was recording, i could see the person i was interviewing and they could see me. All seemed fine, the internet lagged a bit but thats happened before, and no problems. I convert the video to quicktime, and i just have a black screen, I have all the audio, but no video until the last 8 minutes at the end, where it suddenly comes back. This has never happened before to me, camera light was on so it must have been recording right? How the hell do i get the video, this was a once in a lifetime interview, not going to get the same emotions and dialogue again. Zoom has messed with my job - please tell me there is a way to get this video back. I'm on a Macbook pro, i have done loads of zooms in the past with no problems - what the hell happened????!!! I am very stressed, any help would be appreciated. If no help comes, zoom obviously has a system issue they dont know how to fix 😕
I would like to go back to a previous meeting and find the list of who I assigned to the breakout rooms. I have checked reports and cannot find anything there. Would love some help please.
Inside a Zoom Meeting, when you try to admit a waiting attendee and they disappear right before you click, the list shifts up and you end up muting your live presenter instead. The single fix needed: Move the Waiting Room out of the main participant list stack. Give it a dedicated panel or tab so a waiting room click can never accidentally hit a main participant's mute button.
Not sure how to provide this feedback to Zoom Events - but it is unfortunate that the Exhibitors who participate in Expo that also have a Speaker profile in Zoom Events do not have it visible in their Speaker profile that they are participating in the Expo like they do if they are speaking during a session. We expo for a career fair event for our university and this would be helpful.
Hello Zoom webinerdsAnalytics on this license is quite powerful but unfortunately it cannot be shared with 3rd parties easily. They have to wait for me to download a report and then share it. Other platforms let producers share a link which can be accessible without a licensed access. In my case, sales need to see who is registered already before sending invitations to their clients. Has aynone else come up against this issue? Any workaround? Any Zoom plans to make their analytics more accessible? Thank you for reading!
Hello again fellow webinerds,Zoom Webinars Plus offers a lot of options when it comes to customising the registration form for an event. Is there any way to build a standalone page with a form that then points to the Zoom API? Any example at all? I have been told by sales that it was possible but I cannot find much on the help pages. Thanks in advance for your helpXP
Hi everyone,I recently promoted one of my own webinar funnels and found that getting people from promotion to registration was harder than I expected. That experience made me step back and think about the whole webinar journey, rather than focusing only on registrations. It also made me curious about where other webinar organisers experience their biggest drop-off.From what I’ve seen, challenges can happen at several different stages:1. Promotion → RegistrationGetting the right people interested enough to register.2. Registration → AttendanceGetting registrants to actually show up.3. Attendance → EngagementKeeping attendees interested, participating and staying through the webinar.4. Engagement → Next ActionHelping interested attendees take an appropriate next step after the presentation.5. Follow-upContinuing the conversation with attendees and people who registered but didn’t attend.6. MeasurementUnderstanding what happened after the webinar and which parts of the journey are working
In my webinar analytics, I noticed that Chat is showing several messages as deleted. Why might this happen, and is there a way to restore those messages?
With online meetings, webinars, training sessions, and virtual events becoming such a normal part of everyday work, I’ve noticed that video content is becoming harder to keep organized.Sometimes I come across a short video that explains a useful software feature, demonstrates a workflow, gives a quick tutorial, or provides an idea that could be useful during a future meeting or presentation. The problem is that saving these references can quickly become messy. After a while, the browser bookmarks, Downloads folder, and cloud storage can contain hundreds of unrelated files and links.I’ve been trying to create a simpler system for managing this type of content. Instead of saving everything, I separate useful videos into a few categories such as: Meeting and presentation tips Software tutorials Training resources Productivity ideas Presentation and communication examples Technical demonstrations For publicly available short-form videos that I want to keep for personal reference,
