It appears to me that every window on Windows remembers it's last location and size when the application is closed.  Except Zoom Meetings.  It opens this huge oblong box covering 2/3rds of my screen every. single. time.  I move it to the side and and resize it to get my work done.  Restart, boom, back to the center.   I know, first world problems, but seriously, why can't Zoom perform like every other application?  Yes, I've shift-closed, ctrl-closed, closed following any other article I could find that would give me a clue.  (Don't get me started about the "X" in the upper right corner not closing an application.  I'm seriously thinking this app is getting a kardashian complex (huge resource usage, always has to be the center of attention, can't believe everyone doesn't know who it is..)  

In my webinar analytics, I noticed that Chat is showing several messages as deleted. Why might this happen, and is there a way to restore those messages?

I just hosted a meeting and recorded it to Zoom Cloud.  At the end of the meeting I clicked leave meeting like everyone else and that was it.  I thought that was where/when I would name etc my recording.  But my recording is nowhere to be found.   What did I do wrong and can I find it ?

i dont have green screen so I tried to turn of "I HAVE A GREEN SCREEN" mode. But then I cant use virtual background anymore. Please kindly help. Thank you.

I only see 2 reports in ZOOM (Admin) Website that are somewhat useful Phone System Management> LogsAccount Management>Reports>Usage Reports>Phone SystemAccount Management>Reports>User Activity Reports>Phone System Operation Logs Am I missing a place to see reporting for Strictly ZOOM Phone on the vanilla Web Admin Webpage (web-admin)? Is there anything useful in the ZOOM Power Pack in terms of ZOOM-Phone-Reporting that I should be looking at? FINALLY is there any 3rd party reporting products or services I could look at? Thanks in advance      

The video on my Lenovo FHD webcam will show only a black screen when I attempt to use it with Zoom. The camera is otherwise functional, and it will do audio on Zoom. I am using a MacBook Air running Mac OS 15.5.

Could, pls, somebody tell me how I can test my microphone and camera BEFORE I start a conference? I have just installed zoom. After the installation there was some kind of a test. The camera seemed to be working, but the microphone did not. I clicked my profile, but it did not have any settings. I have only a basic account. Thank you.

Hello Can someone help me please - I had a zoom meeting that I was the host and I recorded it and I cannot find it - before it would be emailed to me and now nothing - not in my recordings & transcript tab either. Have I lost it ? 

My tests work fine speaker and mic, but when my participants join, they can't hear me andI can't hear them

We run webinars in several languages on the same account, including, for example, English, French Canadian, German, and Hindi. We can already translate the Title, Description, custom Questions, and confirmation emails per webinar, which works well.The gap is the standard registration fields — First Name, Last Name, Email, and the "Register" button text. These currently follow either the account/browser language or a manual toggle the registrant has to find and click themselves, rather than the language of the specific webinar they're registering for.It would be really useful to set a fixed display language for these default fields at the individual webinar level, the same way we already can for custom content. That way a German-language webinar would show a German registration form by default, without relying on the registrant's browser locale or them switching languages manually.Separately, it would help to have Hindi or French Canadian etc. added to the list of supported interface la

During a recent upgrade, I noticed that the notification "James is talking" (I am james) pops up in every zoom meeting when I "hide self view" and then begin to talk during the meeting.  This is INCREDIBLY distracting and makes me SELF-CONSCIOUS  and takes me out of the meeting.  In past versions of zoom (Two updates ago), this only used to show up when OTHER non-video participants spoke, but NOT the host.  This is AS DISTRACTING as having the green square highlighted on me while speaking, which is intolerable.  Is there a setting to make this go away? 

I teach classes using Zoom. I would like to provide recordings to participants that include only my speaking and screen sharing. I understand that I can choose to record only the active speaker, but this does not quite meet my needs because I have question and answer times when a participant will be the active speaker. Is there any way to record only myself as the host? I use the Pro version on Windows. Thank you! 

A zoom meeting invite from a third party to me does not include a link to add the meeing time and details to my Apple calendar.Is this only achieve manually?

I have searched at both the Zoom Admin level and the user level to find the recommended solution provided by @CarlaA to this issue, and the solution doesn't exist. When I search for the keyword Merge, I get this response: No Setting Found. I have people at my organization who DO NOT want their calendar and Zoom meetings to be merged mainly because they are responsible for setting Zoom meetings for other leadership in the organization, and they need to be able to quickly go in and find what they need and fix it.  I need a solution to this issue.  Please advise. 

Hi all,  I'd like my default transfer on yealink desk-phones to be "assisted" i can do this by changing the "Transfer Mode via Dsskey" in the yealink web interface but is there any way i can provision it in zoom for all users ? thanks 

Hello! Over the past few weeks I've struggled a couple of times where zoom meetings I have scheduled (in Outlook with the Zoom plug in) have then not allowed me to start the meeting. I have been stuck in a waiting room waiting for the 'host' to start the meeting, along with the other attendees. But I am the host? I have tried logging in to Zoom newly but otherwise not sure what I can do here. This isn't happening with all my zoom meetings but most of them. Any ideas why?  Thanks

Lately I’ve noticed a worrying trend of live streamers on the platform kick.com logging into random AA meetings they find on Google and live broadcasting the zoom meetings to thousands of viewers. They do not ask for consent and do not tell people that they are broadcasting. Is there anything zoom can do or is there any action at all that can be taken to stop this terrible new trend.

In the past, I have been able to add invitees from my Personal Contacts simply by starting to type the first few letters of their names.  But according to Zoom  Support, that is no longer possible.  I contacted support, and they confirmed this is no longer possible, and instead, suggested I use Google Calendar to integrate with Zoom, but this makes everything more difficult and cumbersome.  Alternatively, they suggested I created my own email to everyone I want to invite and then include the link to the Zoom meeting.  But when they use the link from the Meeting Scheduler, everyone’s name appears as the owner of the meeting.  (Then are able to “rename” themselves, but again, this is very cumbersome for them unless they all know how to do it.)Next, I asked if there was a way I could import a long list of email addresses to invite to the meeting.  Support told me that “unfortunately, I must enter each name one-by-one.  This is most cumbersome.  Imagine I have a meeting with 30 to 40 of my

I regularly host online teaching sessions on Zoom and make extensive use of breakout rooms, where students work together in smaller groups.Students sometimes ask to remain in the same breakout-room group across multiple teaching sessions. At present, when a new session takes place on a different day, I need to keep a separate record of the previous group composition and then manually recreate the breakout rooms and reassign each student to the correct room. This can be quite time-consuming, particularly with larger classes.It would be very useful if Zoom provided a feature that allowed a host to save a breakout-room configuration — including the room names and participant assignments — and then reuse that configuration in a future meeting.For example, when creating breakout rooms, the host could be given an option such as “Save breakout room configuration”.
