Hi all,

I'd like my default transfer on yealink desk-phones to be "assisted" i can do this by changing the "Transfer Mode via Dsskey" in the yealink web interface but is there any way i can provision it in zoom for all users ?

thanks

Hi, Don;t suppose you can give me some guidance on how you create the config and where please. Zoom Support despite reading your post are not able to help and say I have to do it on all handsets manually… ergghhh

hi @Melissa Lea

I have used templates to bind configuration templates to poly and yealink desk phones.

I have not tried transfer.dsskey_deal_type =1, but you can follow the template support article.  templates are make specific and sometimes also model specific.  if you let us know which desk phone make and models you are working with, i can research further.

“Provision templates allow Zoom Phone admins to customize desk phone settings by creating templates with custom settings that can be applied to the entire account, multiple sites, a group of desk phones, or a single desk phone. Provision templates can be easily modified, reassigned, and removed. The settings in provision templates can be specified using key-value pairs.”

Thanks Eliot, much appreciated.

We’re using Yealink T46U handsets. I take it these templates work when a Phone is provisioned via Hosted Zoom Provisioning, there seems to be a lot of talk of using templates but only when you have your own provisioning server?

Hi @Melissa Lea

you are correct these templates work when phone is provisioned via Zoom. You create a template and bind the template one or more desk phones. I will be back to my office in about an hour and will try with one of my Yealink desk phones.

thanks.

hi @Melissa Lea

@aides83 template worked.

As soon as i binded the template to the Yealink T46U desk phone, the transfer function on the desk phone switched to assisted mode.

please see screen shots of template and binding to Yealink T46U.

thanks,  eliot
