Hi Are Zoom Clips recordings using the same cloud recording storage space, just like ordinary recordings from meetings and webinars? That is eg. 5GB available for Pro licenses is shared between all stored recording types? Or maybe it's currently using some additional, unlicensed space? I'm curious since it's not precisely mentioned anywhere. Cheers Lukasz

Hello everyone,I am planning to purchase a Zoom Phone plan mainly for USA business calling and I would like to hear real user experiences before purchasing.I need a USA virtual phone number and want to use Zoom Phone for making and receiving calls in the United States.I would like to know: Is Zoom Phone call quality good for USA calling? Do calls connect instantly or are there delays/issues? Have you faced call drops, voice lag, or network problems? Is the service reliable for business use? Does it work well internationally outside the USA? Please share your honest experience with Zoom Phone service. Thank you.
I will be hosting a webinar and have a slideshow to share. I have tried practising this, but when I share my screen and bring up the slideshow, it covers the whole width of the screen and I can’t find how to bring up the chat box. Also, the attendee still sees the top of my screen where it says ‘File, Edit, View… etc. How do I resolve both of these?
I need to recover a recently deleted zoom meeting
I know that Zoom uses registrant and attendee data to create registration and attendance reports for webinars. Does it use this information in any other way?
I am using windows 11 and Movavi software suit which has Movavi Screen recorder. Movavi records video and audio from non zoom platforms but does not record audio (only video is visible). Suprisingly, the audio was recorded sometimes but did not record most of the time because of which I have lost many education zoom webinar audio. How to fix issue.
Hello, I have a workplace account. I am trying to figure out language translation. When I set the close caption to a different language, it always defer back to English. Some of my student students for example speak and read Spanish. Is there a mechanism for The user who speaks a different language to receive close caption just on their screen and their preferred language. Also, when the instructor is speaking, I understand there is a feature where the end user who speaks a different language can hear the instructor voice in their language. I find some of the land translation features to be confusing. Essentially, I’m trying to assist my students who speak Spanish to receive their closed caption in Spanish, and also have the instructor voice translated in Spanish. It is also my understanding that the Spanish translation in zoom is not very accurate.
I need the other person to be able to see me while I share my screen. I'm in an Android phone. Is there any way I can do this?
I scheduled a Zoom meeting this morning. When I logged on, it asked if it should creats a text of the meeting. I checked YES. The text off the meeting cannot be forund in Summaries. What happened? Thank you.
Why are my individually scheduled weekly meetings (same date and time) being (automatically??) rescheduled to recurring meetings? This changes the personal meeting id, which I do not want to happen.
Hi, I’ve been having this issue with my mouse cursor for a month. It started happening after I updated my Windows version to Windows 11, but I’m not sure whether these events are connected or not. When I’m sharing a PPT or Google Slides, which are the main content I usually share, everything works normally. However, whenever I need to transition to a new tab, such as Google Docs or Youtube, while still screen sharing, my mouse cursor completely disappears and I cannot do anything about it. It has been so frustrating, because I cannot click on anything, not even on “stop sharing”, and I just have to wait for it to be back. My students say they still see my mouse cursor as I’m moving it desperately trying to get its control back. I have searched for a solution for this issue in this forum, but most of the results I got are from years and years ago, and none of the recommendations given solved my problem - such as updating Zoom’s version. Can someone please help me? I’d really appreciate
It appears to me that every window on Windows remembers it's last location and size when the application is closed. Except Zoom Meetings. It opens this huge oblong box covering 2/3rds of my screen every. single. time. I move it to the side and and resize it to get my work done. Restart, boom, back to the center. I know, first world problems, but seriously, why can't Zoom perform like every other application? Yes, I've shift-closed, ctrl-closed, closed following any other article I could find that would give me a clue. (Don't get me started about the "X" in the upper right corner not closing an application. I'm seriously thinking this app is getting a kardashian complex (huge resource usage, always has to be the center of attention, can't believe everyone doesn't know who it is..)
I can't install zoom workplace app in this devices , samsund tablet galaxy tab A 2016
A couple of weeks ago I had a small meeting with 5 people and there was terrible echo, as if in a large reflecting hall. We meet regularly and in the past we’ve resolved issues with eg logged in on 2 devices, logged in via browser and app simultaneously. But this was worse than any of those. In my settings I’ve got original sound for musicians On, and Echo Cancellation On. Advanced > Echo cancellation is set to AutoTimeline: I opened the meeting and person A joined. Immediately severe echo. So looks like problem is me or person A. After the others joined we did the usual routines of muting each person at a time, then tried muting everyone and un-muting one at a time. No difference, including muting A made no difference. So I closed the meeting, rebooted, and started the meeting again. This time person A joined last, but we still had the echo reight from the start of the first person joining. (Though the quality of the echo was a bit different.)So this time the problem couldn’t be
Hello,I’m working on commissioning some built up Windows machine (Crestron Flex) based Zoom Rooms video conferencing systems for a rather large university in the Boston area. Regarding sharing content ingest audio to a meeting - I’ve always handled content ingest audio via the content ingest path into the Zoom machine via a Zoom certified Magewell HDMI to USB capture card. Additionally, this is how it has been handled on every Windows machine (Crestron Flex) based Zoom Rooms application that I have ever seen.Without getting into the weeds too bad, this has caused a situation where content audio is doubled when content is shared. The client here had, in another room, resolved this by taking the content ingest audio out from the Magewell path and passed it to Zoom Rooms via the path that brings the local in-room microphones into the Zoom PC and then into the meeting - thru the DSP, mixed into the mic mix and then passed out from the DSP over USB and into Zoom. When asked about the native
Hello,I am part of an IT team that is very big on security and privacy. What was questioned was, let's say Admin approves of the AI Companion, if the host does not enable the features during a meeting is the Companion still listening?
I upgraded from Tahoe 26.4.1 to Tahoe 26.5 yesterday, and the option to share the screen of iPhone/iPad is gone.It does not come up on any of the tabs of Screen Sharing.I’m running Zoom 7.0.0.77593, and screensharing was normal until before.I’ve asked Gemini about it and it advised me to try turning on/off the Privacy and Security section for the Mac, but it didn’t help.It may be a Tahoe issue, but I am curious whether there are any other people with the same problem.
Currently using Arch Linux with Wayland. With the latest zoom installed (6.6.0), using pipewire for sharing. The first time I try to share a screen or window, it works fine. If I stop sharing and try to share again, it only shares a completely black window or screen. Immediately after I stop sharing the first time, I get the following messages in ~/.zoom/logs/zoom_stdout_stderr.log*** pw_stream_set_active called from wrong context, check thread and locking: Operation not permitted *** impl_ext_end_proxy called from wrong context, check thread and locking: Operation not permitted 'this->recurse > 0' failed at ../pipewire/src/pipewire/thread-loop.c:62 do_unlock()I cannot figure out if this is a zoom problem or a pipewire problem.Everything works fine in X11.
Platform: Linux Mint 22 (Cinnamon Desktop) Zoom Version: 7.0.0.0 (same issue exists in both flatpak and .deb version) System: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060, Ubuntu-based distro - Linux MintIssue Description: The meeting controls toolbar (mute, video, participants, etc.) at the bottom of the Zoom window will not hide during active meetings on Linux, even when the "Keep meeting controls visible" setting is disabled in Settings > Meetings & webinars > Controls. On Windows and macOS, pressing Alt hides/shows the controls dynamically. On Linux, the toolbar remains permanently visible regardless of keyboard input or mouse position. What I've Already Tried: Unchecked "Keep meeting controls visible" in Settings > Meetings & webinars > Controls section (still visible) Tested all keyboard shortcuts: Alt key (no effect) Ctrl+Alt+Shift+H (no effect) Ctrl+L (no effect) F11 (fullscreen mode - controls still visible)Tested with multiple Zoom installations:.deb version (installed at /us
I was threatened by an anonymous person from behind a screen with the camera off during my condo association’s last board meeting. Imagineers LLC in Hartford CT refuses to release a copy of the meeting to me. Zoom AI support has been useless. Do I have to file a police report to get Zoom to turn this over?
I have a paid Zoom account. When I go to "add alternative host" it won't let me fill in any address at all. (The box is greyed.) I tried this both from my desktop and the app.
Yesterday, March 23rd, 2026 Zoom released a new feature. However we do not see how to do this as an end user or as an admin. Any advice on where documentation is available to support this feature or how it works? Temporary Assigned Desk Release Users can temporarily release their permanently assigned desks for specific dates when they will not be in the office, allowing the desks to be booked by others. Administrators can set automatic desk release if the assigned user has not checked in by a specified time. Administrators can also manually release desks for single or multiple dates and track desk release actions through administrative tools. All release operations can be reversed or rolled back in case of accidental changes. Release notes for Workspace Reservation
