Is anyone else tired of this BS?

Got an email:  Your deck from last meeting is ready for review

Oh, sure - I’ll check it out

Click the link: https://slides.zoom.us/?from=email - I thought it would at least connect to my account - but it just drops me on a marketing landing page. Great - phished. Got me.

So I try it out. “Make me a deck that….” write a whole prompt, hit the button,

THEN i get a login prompt.

Log in, hit a brand new landing page. Prompt gone. Total waste of time.

Does anyone at Zoom use the things they build and promote? Does anyone care that they absolutely catphish their customers?

It’s gross, and annoying, and honestly pathetic.

    Hi  @Steve Pereira ,

Really sorry the first run left such a bad taste — that's genuinely not the experience we want anyone to have, and I appreciate you taking the time to write it all out.

A couple of things that might actually help here:

The good news is your prompt didn't get lost. After you log in, what you typed does carry over into the editor's input box — it's just sitting behind the onboarding pop-up that appears on top. If you close that overlay, you should find your prompt right where you left it, ready to run.

On top of that, we found a bug in that onboarding flow that made this way more confusing than it should be. The fix is going out on June 29, so the whole thing should feel a lot smoother after that.

Thanks for flagging all of this, and sorry again for the rough start. If you give it another go after the 29th and anything still feels off, reply here and I'll follow up.
