Hello I had a zoom video - i trimmed but trimmed the wrong portion of the video - how do i get the original back?
Is the Translated Caption Add-On done needed to be purchased for all attendees in a meeting or is it just needed for the organiser/ presenter?
Hi AllQuestion - please can someone offer some insight?!I recorded a meeting. I have downloaded 3 files . I can edit the transcription in word no problem BUT I cannot figure out how to edit the captions on the video. All instructions say press "play" and the transcriptions will appear on left hand side, you click the pencil image and edit. BUT all I see when I press play is the recording with the captions appearing which I can turn on or off.
Short Version:Since installing Zoom by the official means failed due to an unexpected, likely RAM-related shutdown, I installed it via “sudo flatpak install us.zoom.Zoom”. However, the system still acts as if Zoom needs to be reinstalled, and no matter what I do, won’t update/upgrade other programs in System Manager or the terminal with the upgrade command because it cannot find the archive for Zoom. I want to know how I can get rid of the blockage to updates the incompletely-installed Zoom represents, whether by connecting it to an archive, deleting it, purging it, or finding a way to make the system ignore it and upgrade/update all other software.I have Timeshift snapshots, but Timeshift is not working properly, so if there’s a risk purging the Zoom files might cause major issues on my computer as a whole, I should avoid it. System/Device Information:Laptop, Linux MATE, Distro: Linux Mint 22.1 Xia base: Ubuntu 24.04 (I can give more information, if needed.)My methods to solve the pr
Subject: Bug Report: Focus leak / resource leak after ending Spotlight and Dual Monitor mode causing other apps (JW Library) to minimizeDescription: There is a chronic issue regarding Zoom Workplace's window management on Windows when using dual monitors alongside external projection software like JW Library.Steps to reproduce: Open JW Library and enable its second-screen projection mode (Exclusive Full Screen) on the secondary monitor (TV/Projector). Start a Zoom meeting on the primary monitor. Enable the Spotlight feature on a participant or move Zoom windows between monitors. Remove/cancel the Spotlight. Click on any participant who raises their hand to allow them to speak. Observed behavior: As soon as the Spotlight is removed, Zoom fails to properly release its window focus claim back to Windows (a focus/resource leak). Every subsequent action in Zoom, such as selecting a participant with a raised hand, triggers a visual status change that forces the external JW Library pr
Audio when joining a teams meeting is always choppy from the device where the audio in from other parties in fine, joining a zoom or webex on the same device the audio is fine. Have updated firmware on DTEN and am running the latest zoom app but cannot resolve the issue. Anyone else have this same experience and if so any suggestions on how to resolve it
I switched to Zoom after more than two decades of Skype use. I suffered through learning to deal with the progression of settings to get to “original sound for musicians”. I had to do a ridiculous amount of troubleshooting with students to work through getting their settings correct, and hit a level of equilibrium with things for a solid 6 months or so. In the last two weeks everything went to garbage. I can’t hear one of my students at all (drums), and two (flute and euphonium) are generally so quiet I have to sit perfectly still with headphones on and concentrate hard to hear them. I have gone through my own settings, walked through troubleshooting with my students’ settings (sometimes with the aid of their parents), and used the virtual assistant to suggest possible solutions. So far the only possible solution that I haven’t tried is having those students purchase a separate microphone to plug in and hope that works. I refuse to send them on a wild goose chase for what I’m cer
Hi all. I recorded a meeting and then tried to save it Locally instead of the iCloud and I lost the recording after trying to allow my computer to communicate with Zoom...any ideas if I can still get my recording or is it lost forever?!?! UGH!"recordings and storage"
Hi everyone,My app is already published on the Zoom Marketplace. I’ve enabled EU availability and turned on discoverability, and I’ve completed all the required business information fields (Business Name, Business Phone Number, last 4 digits of the business bank account, Trade Register Number, etc.).The integration works correctly for most Zoom accounts. However, I’m facing an issue specifically with Irish Zoom accounts, where an error message appears during the integration process.Has anyone encountered this before or knows how to resolve it?
Hello dear community.I’m currently planning on making a movie completely over Zoom. Therefore I’ve got a question. When filming, how can I disable my video and call window so only the actors are in the call while shooting but I can record and see them act. I’ve read that Rob Savage for Host contacted the Zoom support for this and got administration rights. But my question is, can’t it be done without all that? I hope so. I hope my question was understandable.
I need to remove the 6.6.10 (6.6.19785) 64bit version of zoom and it is prompting for the installer in order to upgrade to the latest version. Can someone provide a download link to this version please and thanks.
I recently held a Zoom meeting which I recorded, but there is nothing in my Recordings and I received no Meeting Summary via email. How can it be recovered? And how do I avoid this happening again?
I was in a Zoom meeting with my team. Everything was fine, but when we started talking about BitLife, my video froze. Has anyone had this problem? How can I fix it?

I'd like to manage this from code rather than clicking through zoom.us every time. What's going wrong PATCH /v2/phone/auto_receptionists/{autoReceptionistId}/ivr returns HTTP 204 with an empty body. A subsequent GET /v2/phone/auto_receptionists/{autoReceptionistId}/ivr shows the IVR completely unchanged. The same ?hours_type=business_hours query parameter behaves identically — 204, no persistence. This reproduces across many payload variants:Single-key updates (just one entry

Hello,I'm having an issue with a local Zoom recording that I cannot convert. The meeting was recorded locally and I heard both the "Recording in progress" and "Recording stopped" voice prompts. After stopping the recording, the meeting remained open for about 5 more minutes before it automatically ended because the session expired. Zoom was not closed manually, my computer did not crash, and there was no power outage. The recording folder contains:double_click_to_convert_01.zoom (327 MB) double_click_to_convert_02.zoom (1.5 MB) recording.conf zoomver.tagWhen I double-click double_click_to_convert_01.zoom, nothing happens. Zoom does not start the conversion and does not display any error message. Here is what I have already tried:Reinstalled the latest version of Zoom. Ran Zoom as Administrator. Opened the .zoom file while Zoom was already running. Tried opening the recording on a different Windows computer with Zoom installed. Verified that the recording folder contains all the original f
Hi all,New Samsung Tab S11 Ultra (Android). Just installed Zoom Workplace from the Playstore.Did the Zoom test to check audio and video.Video seems ok. I can see myself. Unable to test audio. I logged into an upcoming meeting and got to the waiting room.I see the video window and I get 2 icons below it, one for video and one for the mic. I can turn those on and off.I do not get any way to actually test the audio. I Watched several videos on this and they all show an additional icon/button for audio settings or testing. I do not have this.I also do not have any test options in settings. In Zoom, audio/mic is set to WIFI. Only other choices are phone or off.Am I missing something here or has the latest version of Zoom changed from what I see in the various videos? Thanks for any suggestions on this.
Hi - for the first time ever, a summary of a meeting in my personal room is not accessible - even three hours later. I am logged in and identified via my organisation and obviously I am the host. Please advise.
QuestionCan I record a video with my script on my PC to read and only record myself speaking, not the note on the screen? In other words record what the camera is seeing, not what's on the screen.I hope this makes sense.
A lot of our team uses reactions (emojis) as confirmation or acknowledgement of something sent in a team chat message (both direct messages and channels). However, I have not found a notification option when reactions are used on messages within team chat...not meetings. Is there a way to do this to keep us from having to go back in and check on things manually?

Zoom Scheduler booking redirect shows external-site phishing warning pop-up; user wants ability to whitelist verified domains for seamless redirect to custom Thank You page.Hi Zoom Team,I am writing to share feedback regarding the redirect process in Zoom Scheduler.Currently, when a user completes a booking, they are interrupted by a pop-up window warning them about being redirected to an external website. This window includes a "Report phishing" button and a security warning that forces users to manually click "Open link" to reach my custom "Thank You" page. This creates unnecessary friction in the booking process for two main reasons:User Confusion: Clients are often unsure if the redirect is safe or if they have encountered a security issue, given the "Report phishing" terminology. Loss of Data: Many users hesitate to click "Open link," causing them to close the tab before reaching my custom confirmation page, which contains essential instructions for their sessions. I have already
I am not finding an option to enable polls and quizzes in my meeting's basic settings. Do you have any idea how to enable this?
I just bought a new Samsung phone. I cannot connect to my car's Bluetooth audio through the Zoom app at all. It is very frustrating. I cannot find an audio setting in either the app or website that helps. My Bluetooth audio is working perfectly for evey other app.
My meetings suddenly started requiring passcodes, and I noticed that at the user level, the setting says "Locked by admin." On the account level I saw a message stating that I need to have at least one security feature, including a Waiting Room. So, I turned on the Waiting Room, but am still unable to turn off the requirement for Meeting Passcode, at the admin level. Here is a screenshot.
