On April 16, between 2:25 P.M. ET and 4:12 P.M. ET, the domain zoom.us was not available due to a server block by GoDaddy Registry. This block was the result of a communication error between Zoom’s domain registrar, Markmonitor, and GoDaddy Registry, which resulted in GoDaddy Registry mistakenly shutting down zoom.us domain. Zoom, Markmonitor, and GoDaddy worked quickly to identify and remove the block, which restored service to the domain zoom.us. There was no product, security or network failure at Zoom during the outage. GoDaddy and Markmonitor are working together to prevent this from happening again.

I have a MacBook Air (13-inch, Early 2015, 1.6 GHz Dual-Core Intel Core i5, and I'm getting the error that my device doesn't support Virtual Backgrounds without a green screen. I thought I meet the requirements. Please help.

Hi,  try to check them.

  • Zoom desktop client, 4.6.0 or higher
  • macOS version 10.13 or higher

See more, https://support.zoom.us/hc/en-us/articles/360043484511-Zoom-Virtual-Background-system-requirements

Cheers!

I have the same MacBook Air specs as above, I have confirmed Zoom desktop client is 5.9.6, macOS version is 10.13.6. I see this on apple forums as well, I think this is a bug in Zoom. Can you please advise? thank you
