virtual background - unable to use

I am unsure as to why I am unable to access the virtual backgrounds feature on my pc.  My pc processor is Pentium(R)  Dual Core CPU E5500 @ 2.80 GHz.  Can anyone tell me why I can't access the vrtua backgrounds?

Same.  Joined internal meeting this morning and out of the blue, I had no virtual background when I turned on video - and no virtual backgrounds to select from except for none or blur.  Tried to re-add the virtual backgrounds from the jpeg files on my PC that I've always had/used, but nothing adds in spite of executing the proper steps to add a virtual background.  Again, this is totally random and occurred through no actions of mine as far as I know.
