On April 16, between 2:25 P.M. ET and 4:12 P.M. ET, the domain zoom.us was not available due to a server block by GoDaddy Registry. This block was the result of a communication error between Zoom’s domain registrar, Markmonitor, and GoDaddy Registry, which resulted in GoDaddy Registry mistakenly shutting down zoom.us domain. Zoom, Markmonitor, and GoDaddy worked quickly to identify and remove the block, which restored service to the domain zoom.us. There was no product, security or network failure at Zoom during the outage. GoDaddy and Markmonitor are working together to prevent this from happening again.

Zoom Rooms Device Control with Logitech appliance?

1) Will Zoom Rooms Device Control (JSON script that can control TVs and other devices) operate on Logitech RoomMate or Rally Bar in appliance mode? We would like to set them up with Tap IP but could alternatively use iPads if it makes a difference.

2) Where do the IP commands to the controlled devices come from?

Yes, this is possible (I'm currently running lighting, shading, and display commands for an entire floor from Rally Bars with Neat Pad controllers).

Commands are sent from the appliance/compute - so in this case, a Rally Bar/Mini/Huddle or Roommate running in Zoom Rooms provider mode. Controller does not make a difference - you can use any ZRC certified device that will connect to the appliance/compute.
