On April 16, between 2:25 P.M. ET and 4:12 P.M. ET, the domain zoom.us was not available due to a server block by GoDaddy Registry. This block was the result of a communication error between Zoom’s domain registrar, Markmonitor, and GoDaddy Registry, which resulted in GoDaddy Registry mistakenly shutting down zoom.us domain. Zoom, Markmonitor, and GoDaddy worked quickly to identify and remove the block, which restored service to the domain zoom.us. There was no product, security or network failure at Zoom during the outage. GoDaddy and Markmonitor are working together to prevent this from happening again.

Update Keeps crashing Zoom

Hi, I pay for Zoom, Zoom Workplace Pro $14.99 a month! I cant talk to Zoom my plan doesn't cover that privilege.

I had loads of problems getting to work on my new Samsung.  ( Iv been using zoom for years on my old one!)

Now every time my computer turns of it wants to update then it crashes and zoom wont open.

1)  Simple but probably not the best solution how do I stop updates? I followed instructions to the  management of updates in the portal.   I get this.... To manage your Windows system updates, please upgrade Zoom Rooms to 5.2.0 (5.2.2940.0927) or later, and keep Zoom Rooms in login.   If I update Zoom wont open.

2) how do I get the updated version to open Zoom. I cant risk uninstalling it, It took hours of emails and workarounds from Zoom to get it to work in the first place.

Thank you to anyone who reads this and a bigger thank you if you have a fix!

Can you provide the windows version, and CPU branding you are currently using?
Based on your description, are you using Zoom Rooms? Can you provide the Zoom Room version you are currently using and whether it is 32bit or 64bit?

If Zoom attempts to upgrade, what version of the upgrade package is it and whether it is 32bit or 64 bit?

First of all thank you! I think its the 64bit how can I find this out? at the moment the icon is not on my desk top normally i would right click and look at properties!  i just clicked open it tried to update and it said it was blocked from updating! I guess that helps me in the short term! However its surly going to be a problem once the version i have becomes outdated!

Can you take some screenshots or recordings?
