I've searched through the posts but I haven't found a discussion around receiving SMS only. My company has a phone number through zoom and an approved Brand. However, we do not want to send SMS we only want to receive them. We can't create an SMS campaign because the questions make no sense for our business. We do not, for example, have a privacy policy - or need a privacy policy for the work that we do. Am I stuck or is there a solution?

hi @Jwil
Once you enable sms, “you will still need to assign a valid calling plan and phone number to each user in order for them to send and receive messages.” Each user will automatically have an extension number, but you must assign a calling plan and one or more phone numbers to that extension. Someone sending a sms text message to you needs to dial the user’s zoom phone number.
Zoom offers “Team SMS” which permits multiple users including your human receptionist to get auto receptionist sms messages. A Zoom Power Pack license for each of these users is required.

hi @Jwil
To only receive SMS, turn on SMS. You do not need an SMS campaign to receive SMS.

Hi Eliot,
Thanks for your answer. I've already enabled SMS everywhere. I should have mentioned that. Here is the thing I'm finding the most confusing. I have an auto receptionist enabled. Receptionist cannot receive text messages. I have a user account too. However, user account are required to have extensions. You can not send an SMS to an extension. Ultimately, I'm going in circles.
