We have a few VIP staff members that have all of their calls screened by their Administrative assistants. We have hidden the VIP staff from the directory, and have a queue setup with their name so the their admin assistants can take them.
The problem is that when a VIP makes a call to a staff member, their extension shows on the receiving end. This has caused their extension to be leaked and they are now receiving calls directly. Their phones should always, always, always go to the Admin assistants first. Their phone should not ring except for a incoming intercom.
In our previous on-prem solution, we could make the outbound caller ID show as private without their extension number showing.
We need a solution that will anonymize their internal extension number.

hi @DSCP46
Zoom Phone provides call delegation and intercom. The executive’s extension appears on both the exec’s desk phone and the admin’s desk phone. When a call comes in for the exec, the admin picks up the call. The admin puts the incoming call on hold and intercoms the exec. If the exec wants to accept the call, the exec picks up the call on the exec’s desk phone. If not, the admin picks up the call and takes a message.
